NEW M15 Series Ambient Air Cleaners
Introducing our new flanged, MERV 15 rated, M15 Series Advanced Nano Fiber filters. These filters are offered as Filters Only for the do-it-yourselfer or as a unit with U.L. listed, quiet 78-Watt duct booster fans. Either way, 99.9+% of the lung damaging fine wood dust is removed from the air.
These filters are offered in three sizes. They can be suspended by chain or threaded rod, plenum mounted or placed on a bench. Dust collects on the inside of the filter during operation and, when cleaned (in place) with compressed air, the dust falls into the provided dustpan or clear poly dust bag. In theory, these surface-loading filters will last indefinitely because the dust particles dont get imbedded into the filter media. After a brief cleaning, these filters return to like new condition. With our F14 fans, the C1415 and C1425 filters allow an air flow of 300 and 400 CFM respectively, but, with a customer supplied blower, these filters will flow 1000 and 1400 CFM respectively. Due to the huge filter area of each filter, the draft produced by the discharged filtered air is barely noticeable, but it is sufficient for adequate circulation within 18 feet. The smaller C1015 filters are not offered with duct booster fans at this time, but will handle 750 CFM when used with a customer-supplied blower. Shop sizing is not an exact science as there are too many variables, but a good rule of thumb is to use one combination F14 / C1415 for a one-car garage if the dust loading at any given time is not too severe. We also provide a UL listed wiring conduit box with hardware and extension cord with each fan. If you want a switch for mounting directly on the fan, we will provide one with a box and switch plate for an additional charge. We do not ship wired fans.
