Wynn upgrade filters are now available for the JDS 350 and JDS 750-ER ambient air cleaners.  Our replacement filters are designed to deliver higher air flow, better filtration efficiency, and have a higher dust holding capacity than the stock OEM Filters.  This equates to longer filter life, and better value.  And our filters are manufactured here in the U.S.A.

The JDS systems normally ship standard from the factory with JDS Disposable Pre-Filter 14002, and JDS 3-Pocket Internal Bag Filter 14003.  We know that at some time in the past JDS used a 4-pocket bag, but they no longer sell these.  Please contact us to discuss any "non-standard" filters you may be using.

Note that all of our Inner filters and multi-pocket filters are manufactured with industrial quality Microglass filter media, as opposed to the the run-of-the-mill synthetic filter media used by the major OEMs (Jet, Delta, JDS, etc...).  Triboelectric and Electrostatic (Synthetic) media has fallen out of favor in recent years as a result of a known discrepancy between ASHRAE/MERV lab efficiency results, and actual field tests.  It has been proven repeatedly that the filtration efficiency of Triboelectric media drops after a very short time in the field.  It is now believed that the first coating of dust insulates the fibers, and neutralizes the charge, negating any triboelectric effect.  Wynn Environmental uses only high-loft microglass for our filter bags, which is the same media used in all of our large industrial systems.  This media does not rely on an elusive electrostatic charge that may not be there when you need it, and it is the only media that has consistently been shown to be effective in real-world applications.  Our bags will maintain their efficiency throughout the life of the filter.  In addition, our filter is a 4-pocket bag, rather than the 3-pocket sold by Jet, Delta, and JDS.  In general, more filter media is better, especially with disposable filters.
