Wynn Environmental’s clear PVC flex duct is recommended for most woodworking dust collection operations. Flexible dust collector hose made from PVC resists the build up of static electricity through its wire-reinforced helix and is therefore acceptable for woodworking applications. PVC dust collector hoses are flexible and clear, which allows blockages to be located and cleared.

Reinforced with wire, these clear urethane hoses have a high tear strength and are able to resist abrasion and puncturing during standard woodworking operations such as chip collection. Additionally, urethane flex duct is extremely flexible and able to endure the stress of moving back and forth with equipment. Thinner versions of the urethane flex hose are more flexible than thicker flex hose; however, thicker flexible urethane ducts exhibit higher durability during more rugged operations.
